another funny from kyle...........

1st- Last week he had diahorrea, and I told him to tell me when he needed a poop (which he did) I asked him if it was runny? and he said.."no its a slow one!" I was happy things had gone back to normal, but just as I was leaving the bathroom, Kyle corrected himself...... "actually, it came shooting our like a meteor!" em...ok kyle!

2nd- (and this is my favorite) It was just me, Kyle and his cousin Sam driving home in the car. The boys were happily chatting, and I put on one of my cd's, I began singing loudly, ( I sometimes get a little carried away and start fantasising that I am on a stage somewhere entertaining millions) I must have been singing for about 20 minutes when, I was rudely brought back to reality! Kyle said... "Mummy, we dont like your songs!" (then worrying about my feelings he quickly changed his tone and added....) "But we like you though!!

plenty more fish in the sea............

Today we said our goodbyes to our new friend sushi. She passed away peacefully in the night. We have no reason to suspect foul play or suicide. She was only with us for a short time but was everything we would expect from a fish. We solemnly flushed her remains this morning. Kyle says that Santa will bring us another fish, but we reminded him that there are no fish in the north pole because it is frozen over, Unfortunately (for us) Kyle insisted that it is still possible to find live fish under the surface of the ice!!! (seriously... why is he so intelligent??)

precious brody

Ever since Brody was born, Marks sisters and his mom have told me that he looks like a precious moments doll! I had never seen one before, but I did'nt really think much more about it! But as he has got a little older, I have more and more people come up to me and tell me.... "Oh my goodness, he looks just like one of those precious moments dolls!!" So I had to see for myself! I can't believe the resemblence, what do you think?

here comes santa claus......

we had our family christmas party on monday and it was SOO MUCH FUN!! Everybody thought so, except Brody who thought sleep was way more important than hanging out with family!! He slept on the floor while we ate yummy soups. (at one point he had rolled his way under the couch in his sleep) there were probably 50 people at Jills house, and they were not holding back on volume!! But this did not phase little sleeping Brody.

The highlight of the evening was when we had a visit from everyones favorite celebrity!! Not even santa or his lovely wife could interupt Brodys snooze.
