eviction day!

On Tuesday 24th March 2009, Our sweet little Owen Grant was born. we are so in love!
weighing 7lbs 6 and 19.5 inches long welcome home baby!

not a pretty pedicure...........

On valentines day, mark bought me a giftcard to a beauty spa to get a pedicure. I LOVE pedicures! I had my first ever pedicure here in america, and it was so heavenly, such a special treat! I decided I would save my giftcard until nearer the end of my pregnancy, so I could truly enjoy my relaxing treatment, (and have pretty toes to look at whilst in hospital).
My c-section is scheduled for next Tuesday at 7.30am, and we are soo excited to meet this special little boy. I have been thinking all week about making an appointment to get my feet beautified, but last night all my plans went down the drain!
We were shopping in costco and as we were loading up the car with all our shopping, Mark stood on my bigtoe! I told him he was standing on my foot and so he quickly removed his obnoxious fat shoe from my poor defensive toe, taking the majority of my toenail with him! seriously... my toenail was completely off standing straight up (just where it was barely connected) it was horrifying! Mark wanted to take my straight to urgent care, but I really didnt want to pay $50 for something I thought we could fix ourselves, so I tried to push the toenail down into place, but that thing was not going anywhere!! So we went to urgent care where the doctor took the whole nail off!!! It is soo ugly and it stings like crazy! so much for my special pedicure! poor mark was soo sorry, he looked like he was about to cry, and I am having fun being served hand and "foot".
